VERTIREX CLIMBING LOGBOOK · IN PRIVATE BETA FOR ANDROID
Your climbing days, in one place.
Less time logging. More time climbing. Keep your outings, climbs, photos, and the details worth remembering together, then explore the progress in your climbing.
Built for your climbing days.
Log climbs quickly
Group climbs by outing. Record grades, climbing methods, and results, with optional partners, conditions, and notes.
Keep photos and locations
Attach photos from your camera or gallery and save an optional GPS point for a route start. View recorded locations on a topographic map.
Find past climbs
Search your climbing history, narrow results by grade range, and view matching climbs with saved coordinates on a map.
See your climbing progress
Explore your climbing pyramid, leads by grade and ascent result, and highest grades over time. Filter your recorded rock leads by period and protection type.
Build a climbing résumé
Select and review your recorded experience, then preview and export a PDF résumé. This beta feature is being field tested.
Back up your logbook
Save and restore your records with a JSON backup, or choose a full ZIP backup that includes attached photos.
Separate climber profiles
Keep separate local logbooks for different climbers on the same device. Profiles are local, not password-protected online accounts.
Choose light or dark mode
Use the refreshed interface in light or dark mode to suit your preference.
A look inside the beta
Screens from the Android beta in light and dark mode. Features and layout may change. Progress charts use fictional demo data to illustrate app features and do not represent a real climber’s performance. Select an image to view it full size.
Your record, ready for the next outing.
Keep logging at the crag without an internet connection. Map tiles require internet. GPS capture is optional and starts when you choose to use it. Save backups regularly to keep a separate copy of your logbook and photos.
Availability
Climbing Logbook is in private beta for Android, with testing by invitation. It is still being developed and is not available for public download or iOS devices. Public release details and pricing will be shared here when confirmed.
Help shape the logbook
Interested in testing the logbook on your climbing outings? Request beta access through the contact form. Include your device type, the kinds of climbing you do, and what you would like to test. Selected testers will receive installation details and be asked to share feedback on ease of use and any bugs. You can also send feedback without joining the beta.
