About Vertirex

Vertirex is the outdoor website operated by Dmitriy Muzhzhavlev at https://vertirex.com. For questions about this notice or your information, email contact@vertirex.com.

Contact messages and beta requests

When you use the Contact form, you provide your name, email address, message, and any additional information you choose to include. If you request Climbing Logbook beta access, this may include your Android device type, climbing interests, and testing feedback. Please avoid sending passwords, payment details, or other sensitive information.

This information is used to respond to inquiries, discuss collaboration, consider beta requests, provide testing instructions, and understand feedback. Submissions are delivered by email. The current WPForms Lite setup does not store a browsable submissions list in WordPress, but copies can remain in the receiving mailbox, mail-service records, and backups.

Comments

If comments are available on an article, WordPress collects the information entered in the comment form, along with the visitor’s IP address and browser information for moderation and spam detection. Approved comments and the chosen display name are public. Comments require manual approval.

If a Gravatar image is used, an anonymized email hash may be sent to the Gravatar service. Its privacy information is available at automattic.com/privacy. A profile image may appear with an approved comment.

Cookies and technical information

WordPress uses cookies for administrator sign-in and preferences. If you choose to remember your comment details, WordPress can store your name, email address, and website in a cookie for up to one year. Login cookies normally last two days, or up to two weeks when “Remember Me” is selected. You can manage cookies through your browser settings, although blocking them can affect some functions.

Hosting, security, caching, and anti-spam systems may process technical information such as IP addresses, requested pages, request times, browser information, and failed login activity to operate and protect the website. The Contact form also uses automated anti-spam checks and a minimum submission time.

Google Analytics and cookie choices

With your consent, Vertirex uses Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages people visit, how they find the site, and how they interact with its content. Google receives information such as page URLs, referring sources, browser and device details, approximate location, and interactions such as scrolling, outbound link clicks, and file downloads. Analytics uses cookies, including _ga and cookies beginning with _ga_, to distinguish visits. These cookies can remain for up to two years, depending on browser settings and subsequent visits.

Optional analytics is blocked until you accept statistics cookies. You can accept, deny, or change your choice through the cookie banner and the Manage consent control. Complianz stores your cookie preferences so the website can remember your choice. Declining analytics does not prevent you from reading the site or contacting Vertirex.

Analytics is used to improve this website. No Google advertising tags are configured, and contact-form contents are not intentionally sent to Analytics. Google may process analytics information on servers outside your country. Read how Google uses information from sites that use its services and Google’s Privacy Policy for more information. Browser or network blocking may also prevent analytics collection.

Service providers and external content

Hostinger supplies website hosting, email services, and related security and backup infrastructure. Information may be processed by these services to deliver messages, maintain the website, prevent abuse, and restore data. Their processing is also subject to their own privacy practices.

Links lead to third-party websites with their own privacy notices. Where content from another website is embedded, such as a video, that provider may receive technical information and set cookies when the content loads. Avoid including private information in public comments.

Retention

Closed contact and beta inquiries are deleted from the active mailbox within 12 months after the inquiry or testing relationship ends, unless they are needed for an ongoing relationship, resolving an issue, or applicable recordkeeping obligations. Approved comments remain with the article unless removed. Security records and backup copies follow the retention settings of the services holding them; deletion from active records may not immediately remove a copy from an existing backup.

Requests about your information

Email contact@vertirex.com to request access to, correction of, or deletion of information you submitted. Include enough detail to locate the relevant message or comment. Identity may need to be verified before acting on a request. Some records may need to be kept for security or applicable recordkeeping obligations.

Climbing Logbook beta

This notice covers the Vertirex website and communications about the beta. It does not by itself describe all data stored or processed within the Android app. App-specific information, including storage, permissions, backups, exports, and any diagnostics, must be provided with the beta installation information after those practices are confirmed.

Changes to this notice

This notice will be updated when the website’s data practices change. The effective date will identify the latest published version.
